5th Singapore Breast Oncoplastic Surgery Symposium (SBOSS)

The upcoming edition of the BreastDay Meeting will be held on 19-21 July 2019 at the KK Hospital Training Centre in Singapore and will be held in conjunction with the 5th Singapore Breast Oncoplastic Surgery Symposium (SBOSS). The objectives of the meeting are to provide clinicians with multidisciplinary updates on diagnosis and clinical management of breast cancer and related breast diseases. The theme is: “Transforming breast cancer care: advances and future developments”. The theme reflects how breast cancer care has changed over the years, not just in the understanding of breast cancer behavior, but also in tailoring different approaches for this heterogeneous cancer.

Local and international experts will be sharing their expertise in radiological, surgical and oncological fields, covering hot topics such as neoadjuvant chemotherapy, axillary nodal management and clinical use of artificial intelligence. The latest updates from the American Society of Clinical Oncology Annual Meeting will also be presented.

This year's edition of SBOSS will be a hands-on workshop focusing on therapeutic mammoplasty mark-up with emphasis on the Wise-pattern mark-up. It will be held on 19 July 2019 and is targeted at all breast surgeons from consultant to trainee levels. There will also be pre-meeting radiology workshops on contrast-enhanced spectral mammography and molecular breast imaging on 19 July 2019.

The 2nd Multidisciplinary BreastDay Meeting prides itself as a truly holistic conference covering all clinical aspects of breast cancer care. Come join us for a weekend of learning and gainful knowledge!

The meeting is targeted at doctors, researchers and allied health personnel involved in breast care, including oncologists, surgeons, pathologists, radiologists, scientists, radiographers and nurses.
